Matthew 6 says, “Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it’s safe from moth and rust and burglars. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be and end up being.” The Message

You have been investing in God’s work and have been laying up treasure in heaven. You have empowered African Moons! You have made it possible for us to scholarship students, build Bruton Dormitory and furnish it with all new furniture. Donors made it possible for an internet tower to be erected at the college. Then last month the Computer Lab became a reality! There are exciting days ahead.

August 7th, Joel will be attending the 2017 General Council of the Assemblies of God. This will be an opportunity to meet pastors and share with them the upcoming projects of African Moons.

Phase One for the housing needs of Northern Bible College was Bruton Dormitory. It was completed and furnished for 88 students.

Phase Two will further the mission of educating and training more ministry students to share the Gospel.

This rendering is African Moons next major project, a THREE STORY DORMITORY for the Northern Bible College! Project Manager, William Geter, Jr., has been working on the plans and budget for this new dorm.

The budget is $350,000. The dormitory will accommodate 240 students! It will have full bathroom facilities and showers, wardrobes and study desks. The facility will have a concrete and steel frame structure with concrete masonry backup walls and a plaster stucco exterior. It will have its own gravity water supply. Electrical power will be sufficient for every room and emergency lighting. The dormitory site improvements include new concrete entry, sidewalks hardscape and green landscaping. Students will not be turned away due to a lack of dorm rooms.

Pray that God will guide Joel as he meets pastors and that they will be open to partnering with African Moons for the construction and furnishing of this next dormitory.

The African Moons Golf Tournament is coming soon, It will take place September 25 at Texas Star in Euless, Texas. You can help promote the tournament just by telling friends about it, pointing them to www.africanmoons.org for information and registration. We will be sending out the Tournament Brochure in a few days. We need sponsors and players to meet the goals of the tournament – 144 Players and $10,000.

The proceeds will benefit the Shalom Center Orphanage and educational projects for Special Needs Children in Arusha Government Schools.

The next scheduled trip to Arusha is in November. “Christmas for the Shalom Center Orphanage” is in the works. There are 45 children who reside there. A list of needed items is being pr epared. These children have next to nothing. Our friends and partners have expressed a desire to do more for these children and giving them an early Christmas will be a incredible celebration. More information will be forthcoming and a schedule will be presented to you.

So, as you can see, there are exciting days ahead. When we asked God how this would all be done, we were reminded that He has done before and He will do it again.

Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Thank you for partnering with us! We are on tip toes to see what God does.

Tanzania for Jesus!
