January Newsletter 2019Posted on January 7th, 2019.
This is the Word for any situation we face in 2019…
Jesus looked hard at them and said, “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.” Matthew 19: 26 MSG
When we started our journey together we knew the challenge was too big for us. It would take God doing it. God put on our hearts to “Not get ahead of Him, Not get behind Him, but to stay IN STEP WITH HIM.”
African Moons’ partnership with the Tanzanian Assemblies of God, and specifically with the Arusha Bible College, exists to develop church leaders. Last November, 38 students received their diplomas at the 60th graduation class of the college.
These graduates have a divine calling on their lives. They are committed to follow God’s plan for their ministries.
We also visited a few graduates who are now pastoring. This is the proof that your investment into these students does yield fruit and this fruit will continue to grow and remain.
In a few days classes will begin and new students will commence their studies. Every bed will be filled in Bruton Dorm. Unfortunately, students are still having to sleep in the “Americana Dorm” pictured below. Awful conditions, no bathrooms, no showers, terrible beds!
This is why the Phase Two Dormitory is so critical. With your help, this will change in 2019!
The Project Account is nearing $100K! The total cost for the dorm is $350k. To break ground and get construction underway, $200k is needed in the Project Account. That means an additional $100k will get construction started.
Two hundred and forty students will occupy this Phase II Dormitory, that’s a $1500 investment per student. Future pastors, teachers, missionaries will be the result of your gift towards this goal and it will be multiplied every year! Please pray about investing in these students. Let us know what you can do to help. For those who have already invested, thank you and God bless you! We love you and thank you for your prayers and support.
Tanzania for Jesus!
