Did you know… the medium age of the Tanzanian population is 17.7 years of age? The population is nearly 61 million people and more than 44.8% of the population is under the age of 15! World Population Review
Mr. Gates said he believed the boom in Africa’s population had to be met with investment in young people. “Specifically, it means investing in their health and education, or what economists call ‘human capital’”, he said.
Equipping men and women to take the Gospel to these young people is our joy and assignment. Though we cannot physically touch each person or present the Gospel to each one, there are men and women willing to put their trust in God and make Him the FIRM FOUNDATION of their lives. When they attend Northern Bible College, those students will be prepared to reach their own people. God will give them an assignment for these last days. They will prepare sermons and seek God’s anointing to preach the Gospel.
God has called African Moons to partner with these men and women. And God has called you to partner with African Moons and that humbles us.
The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. Hebrews 11: 1 MSG
Sally and I had to choose to trust God when He gave us this assignment. He is the FIRM FOUNDATION. He brought us all together. Many of you have expressed how much joy and pleasure you receive knowing that you are investing in God’s work through African Moons.
Working together with the college staff and the students is great joy and satisfaction knowing that students are being educated and equipped for spiritual battle. Every graduate who is now preaching salvation, healing and deliverance – received incredible blessings through your partnership. But we are not done.
In a recent meeting with Project Manager, William Geter Jr. we discussed the budget for the Phase II Dormitory. We prayed that God will supply the needed funds so that construction can begin. We will walk in HARMONY with God and trust Him.
Believe with us. This is God’s work and He will meet the needs. We are committed to be faithful to His calling. And we need you to continue to be faithful partners with African Moons.
The total cost of the Phase II Dormitory is $350,000. We thank the people who have responded with their gifts towards this goal since last month’s letter.
Please continue to pray for this need. Give whatever amount God puts on your heart. Perhaps you could share this project with friends or family.
Here is a final thought for each of us…
“What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven-and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all-life healed and whole.” I Peter 1:3 MSG
