June NewsletterPosted on June 18th, 2019.
Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless-cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it….
I Peter 4:8 Message
You have been that person! You have given so that children are fed and cared for. The children of Shalom Center Orphanage are not just receiving their education through scholarships made possible by our friends and partners. They are being instructed in Godly principles by the staff of Shalom Center.
They are pursuing their dreams. Sipha wants to become a Medical doctor. Daudi is studying to be a veterinarian. Joyce wants to have her own tailoring shop. None of this would even be a dream if it weren’t for your partnership with African Moons.
Through your faithful giving the students at the Arusha Bible College are attending classes and receiving training in the Computer Lab you helped provide. They can access the internet through the internet tower you helped get installed. The students who are enjoying Bruton Dorm have showers, bathroom facilities and decent beds. The impact that you have had on the Bible College is ongoing. Every new student knows that the blessings are theirs because you give.
School children in the Government Primary schools and Special Needs programs are enjoying the children’s books, games, toys and school supplies because you are generous to those who look to us for help.
Galatians 6:9 encourages us to “…not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Your faithful giving is an investment in the lives of each of these young people and children. They have hope and a future because you pray and you give.
The students of Arusha Bible College are praying daily for us. They are asking God to bless African Moons as we partner with them. They are praying for the funds to be given for the Phase Two Dormitory. They are seeking God’s anointing as they prepare for their ministries.
They know that God is the source of power and provision. You have invested in the souls that they will lead to Christ in the days and years to come.
For every need that comes before us, we know that God is the source. He speaks to His people and directs their hearts to give. It is a beautiful tapestry that God has woven with our lives.
The assignment that God has given to Sally and me is a joyous one. It is our purpose. And God has given you to us as well. There is no way that we can count these blessings if you are not part of the equation.
So we ask that you continue to pray for us. Thank God in advance for the Phase Two
Dormitory. By faith we can see it filled with students who will preach the Good News throughout Africa. Your monthly support is deeply appreciated and your prayers are greater than silver and gold to us.
Tanzania for Jesus!
