Remember these words from Andrae Crouch?
“Jesus is the Answer for the world today
Above Him there is no other
Jesus is The Way”
This country is in a moral and spiritual crisis. The spirit of the Anti-christ is raging war against all people around this world. We know that God established America as a beacon of hope to the world. And God has used the American people to send the Gospel around the world. We must do all we can to continue being a Light to the world.
But right in our neighborhoods we must also be a Light not hidden but extinguishing darkness. The Good News is a message of redemption and hope; only through Christ can one’s true purpose be found. During these tumultuous days, when people are looking for answers, we as believers need to be voices of hope and love. Though we come from varied backgrounds and experiences, we are all God’s creation. And when one part of the Body is hurting, we need to bring love and healing to those hurting, regardless of color, background or nationality. It is a shame that for so many years our churches have been so racially divided. We have all probably witnessed people’s prejudices. Let’s be part of the healing. We can’t undo the past but today we can be “HIS HANDS EXTENDED, REACHING OUT TO THE OPPRESSED”. Pray that God directs each of us and when given an opportunity we demonstrate God’s character to all people.
“This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples – when they see the love you have for each other.” John 13:35 The Message
Here’s an update from Principal James and Northern Bible College in Arusha:
Principal, George James of the Bible College reports that the students are pleased to be back to their studies. It is thrilling to see the Computer Lab full of students that African Moons’ partners have made possible. George James says, “We thank you for the computers. They are a great blessing to our college.” The students in these photos are engaged in a group research project.
Project Manager, William Geter, Jr. is in communication with our contractor for the new dormitory. They are making plans to begin the demolition of the old Americana dorm where the new dorm will be built and some students are still living. Steps must be taken to relocate the students once the demolition begins. This is exciting news but a challenge to provide “interim” lodging for the displaced students until the new dorm is completed.
Shalom Centre update:
Director Golden reports that all of the students have returned to their boarding schools for their studies. He sent a video of the students expressing their gratitude to you for the blessings of their scholarships. The sound of their voices filled our hearts with joy.
We are grateful to you that African Moons has been able to stay on target and keep all our African Moons financial obligations current. God told us at the beginning of 2020 that this would be a year of disruption.
However, please pray for added monthly support to help us chart daily personal living expenses. For the past 12 years we have lived by faith and we know that provision will come as God directs.
Tanzania for Jesus!
