January Newsletter 2021Posted on January 25th, 2021.
When I said at the beginning of 2020 that we had heard in our hearts the word “Disruptor”, we had no idea what was coming. I won’t go into that mess.
But look what God has done in spite of the disruptions. These are Shalom Centre orphans and through our partners they are enjoying great success! Sipha is studying to become a doctor.
African Moons presented Sipha with a new HP Laptop as she continues her studies to become a doctor.
Vaileth is working as a hairdresser. Joyce made this shirt for me in her shop. These are two of the young ladies from Shalom Centre. They had reached the age that required them to enter the work force. African Moons helped them begin careers.
Throughout 2020 children were able to attend school. African Moons was able to scholarship 54 children. The range of studies was from primary to university level.
At Northern Bible College, African Moons provided scholarships for 14 students. Four of those students graduated. This year the number of students we desire to scholarship is 17.
GROUNDBREAKING FOR THE PHASE II DORMITORY
Bishop Barnabas Mtokambali led the ceremony and then led me in a celebration dance!
Demolition began of the old dormitory and preparing for the new dormitory – housing for 240 students!
Scholarships, Christmas in a Box, Bible College Graduation, Phase II Dormitory are the main highlights of 2020. For 2021 the word in our hearts is MANIFEST! To make evident by showing or displaying. Keep our focus on things above not on things below!
Tanzania for Jesus!
