MORE THAN CONQUERORS! ROMANS 8:31-32
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
We know that we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us. As we enter 2021, already in February, there are many questions and situations that we can’t even anticipate. However, the Almighty God knows what is to come and He has everything under control. So we walk minute by minute, day by day trusting Him, knowing that through trust in Him we will be Conquerors!
How is this for conquering life’s challenges?
Jasmine Omary arrived at Shalom Centre Orphanage when she was six years of age. Her father died when she was five. Her family was very poor and lived in a single room with five siblings and her mom. Her mom could not provide for her and she was basically given to the local government as an orphan. She was among the first children taken in by Shalom Centre and it has been her home ever since. Her dream was to become a social worker.
Through the giving of African Moons partners, Jasmine has been blessed with a scholarship the last few years. She just graduated from the University of IFM ( Institute of Finance Management) where she completed her degree in Science and Social Protection to become a Social Worker! We know with her background, talent and love she will help hurting families and vulnerable children.
Joyce Eliamani was facing a forced marriage when she was fifteen. The Government and Shalom Centre rescued her and since 2012 she has been at Shalom. Through African Moons scholarships she was able to attend a training college for tailoring. She is now a Tailor, has her own shop designing men’s and women’s garments. Joyce is a Conqueror!
Whatever the circumstances – God has a way! Phase II Dormitory is our current project for Northern Bible College students. We are trusting God for wisdom and discernment as we proceed.
Before we began construction, we knew we would need a storage facility. We want to buy in bulk and this gives us plenty of room to do that. This is positioned right behind Bruton Dorm and across from the Phase II Dorm site.
With our storage building complete, one of our first purchases is this hand-fed Esquire Cement Mixer. Instead of renting a mixer for the dorm project, we will own this one. Saving us $$!
This diesel powered mixer will be hard at work and will be at the college for other projects.
We thank God for the challenges ahead, knowing that He will be walking with us. And thank you for joining us through your prayers and giving! We are so grateful
for your friendship and
partnership in this adventure!
Tanzania for Jesus!
