In a few weeks we will be in Arusha to begin construction of the two-story, six thousand square foot dormitory at the Arusha Bible College! The timeline from our contractor in Arusha is now established. Twenty weeks ( five months) and $200,000.00 is the goal to construct and furnish the dormitory.
Our architectural consultant from Dallas/Fort Worth, who has generously advised and offered his expertise to us, plans to join us in Arusha for the critical first days of the foundation phase. We are thrilled to have him as we take this next step.
The battle between evil and righteousness continues. Al Qaeda is thought to be behind the recent bombing in Nigeria. In Somalia, Al Qaeda already has a strong foothold. Even in Tanzania, I have seen a school that teaches and trains men to enforce the diabolical beliefs of extreme militant Islam. The urgency is upon us.
Thanks to First Assembly in Lafayette, Indiana, who a few weeks ago caught the vision and contributed funds for the dormitory. TBN, the local affiliate in Indianapolis, will air our interview regarding the vision for the dormitory on October 21 at 11:30 AM. It will re-air Saturday and Thursday at 2:00 AM in that area. Your prayers are vital so that others will be led to help financially for this dormitory.
In a few days, Pastor Lynn Hancock of Briarwood Church in Pampa, Texas will host us for a Sunday service. It is exciting to tell about the wonderful privilege God has given us to expand the Arusha Bible College which began 53 years ago because of the faith and vision of Paul and Helen Bruton.
THE STUDENTS ARE KEY, THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL CHANGES LIVES!
Together, we are making an investment in these students to prepare them for spiritual warfare.
“A man cannot please God unless he has faith. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is. That one must also know that God gives what is promised to the one who keeps looking for Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NLV
This is God’s time and we bless each of you for standing with us with faith.
The airfare for each of us is $1782.00 along with additional costs for food and accommodations. God clearly directed us to announce that it is time to begin construction. So now, He will provide the necessary funds for the expenses of this trip. The adventure of trusting God is exciting.
Will you help us believe for His provision and do what you can?
Thank you for your prayers and financial support. We cannot do it without you.
Tanzania for Jesus!
