Mom Bruton used to tell us, “God is previous”. Whatever life brings, God has been there and has a plan to meet the need. He already knows what we are walking through and He knows what we need. He is NEVER caught off guard!

When Sally and I obeyed God’s call to establish African Moons, it was God’s time for us. The Arusha Bible College is our first assignment. We committed to build a new dormitory.

William Geter, Jr., our project manager reports:
“This is a close up of the ground floor slab with structural column forms having been filled with concrete, awaiting curing before removal  for the suspended slab of the second floor of the dorm. You can see in the left side of the photo that the blocks are positioned for erection immediately as part of the present stage of construction. At the present time that you are viewing this, the block walls will be partially up, PRAISE THE LORD!”

To our great disappointment, we recently were told that the funds we were planning on for our next draw are not available. This requires that we raise $25,000.00 for the next phase of construction by April 1. God was not surprised by this.

February 13, early in the morning Sally awoke and wrote the following in her journal:

“Up and thinking about African Moons, the next steps and the needs we are facing. As I am praying for provison and wisdom the powerful Word of God spoke…

‘BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS  AND ACT; DO NOT FEAR NOR BE DISMAYED, FOR THE LORD GOD, IS WITH YOU. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU UNTIL ALL THE WORK OF THE SERVICE OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD IS FINISHED.’ II Chronicles 28:20

Lawrence Laizer is of the Masai tribe. He is joined by his mom, brothers and sister at his graduation. He is now studying English at the Arusha Bible College and serving on the staff of Mount Zion Church.

Upcoming events:

March 19, we will share with the men of the Colleyville Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd. We are excited for this unexpected door of opportunity that God opened for us to share our vision for Tanzania.

March 25, Pastor Scott Olson of Trinity Church in San Antonio is introducing African Moons to his church.

April 22, we will be with Pastor Mike Bruton in Fresno, California. While in California we will meet with the missions committee of Capital Christian Center in Sacramento and contact several pastors in other cities.

A few days ago a dear friend, whom we have not talked to for over a year, wrote this note of encouragement, “THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU, YOU NEED ONLY TO BE STILL.”

Our God is aware of our every need, even the ones we do not already know about. What a comfort it is to know that He is absolutely faithful to keep His promises to all of us.

Thank you for joining this journey with us. Together we will share in the victory of the completed dormitory!

Tanzania for Jesus!
