Joseph Motto graduated in 2002 from the Arusha Bible College. He pastors Antioch Revival Church, started in 2004. The church is in the Sombetini area of Arusha, where approximately 34,000 people live. Pastor Motto has a compassionate heart for the people. He deeply desires to reach the thousands in his area. Unfortunately, the church meets in a temporary shelter and it is not adequate. They pay $50.00 a month in rent. The vision for the congregation includes; purchasing land, building their own church building and they also want to send some of their members who are called to ministry to the Arusha Bible College!

Pastor Motto is a dynamic preacher of the Gospel. His pulpit mannerisms reminded me of Paul Bruton, using a powerful voice and captivating illustrations. Sunday morning’s message, taken from John 10, presented “Jesus is the source of life.”

“Four things you can do to make Jesus your bread of life: 1. Continue to believe in Him, as you face trials and hardships. 2. Have confidence in Him, as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were bold in their faith. 3. Wait on Him, this may be your waiting time. 4. Be ready to receive, prepare yourself, expecting to receive, listen for the still small voice. The Lord can visit you anytime. Let us pray and wait on the Lord.”

This congregation blessed me with their love and worship for God. They were so thrilled that I would take time to be with them. I was so moved, I look at this picture and just want to bless them with the help they need. Sally and I marvel that God is allowing us to witness the fruit of the Arusha Bible College. We give Him praise and are humbled at the work He has done.

Every act of love shown to the people of Tanzania is the result of His Love working in you and in us. So daily we give Him praise and thanksgiving for allowing us to partner with you and the people of Tanzania.

Our hearts are in agreement with the Psalmist David when he wrote;

“What can I give back to God for the blessing he’s poured out on me? I’ll lift high the cup of salvation – a toast to God! I’ll pray in the name of God; I’ll complete what I promised God I’d do, and I’ll do it together with his people. Psalm 116:12-14 The Message

Together we are providing Bible School scholarships, financial support for the Shalom Center Orphanage and monthly assistance for the Arusha Bible College. Your monthly support and special gifts are vital to continue making a difference. God bless you for partnering with us!

Tanzania for Jesus!
