Mom Bruton would remind us that the greatest goal of her life was to know HIM. Through all of life’s ups and downs, God has been faithful. This time of our lives matters because of what God is doing in each of us. Knowing Him is the result of walking away from the “distractions” in our lives, whatever those may be, and getting alone with HIM. Why is it so hard to do? There always seems to be those “distractions”. But when we get away and get quiet, He is always there, waiting for those intimate moments.
Well, Sally and I are heading for the West Coast in a few days. The focus of the next few weeks is to share the plans for the Phase Two dormitory for the Arusha Bible College. The dorm will sleep 240 students. It will be furnished just as Bruton Dormitory with new furniture, bedding, desks, chairs and wardrobes.
In recent phone calls with the Tanzanian Assemblies of God General Superintendent, Barnabas Mtokambali, he has spoken of the hundreds of young men and women who have answered the call of God to be workers in the Harvest of souls. These men and women are eager to study and apply themselves to Biblical training. The upgrading of the college is critical to help develop these fresh troops in the last days’ battles for lost souls. We battle daily to fight for the souls yet to be won for the Kingdom of God.
This assignment can’t be completed with just one person in the fight. It will take all of us doing what God directs us to do.
Sally and I will be traveling up and down the West Coast, speaking and sharing where God has opened doors. We will speak of all that God has done and what we believe He is wanting to do.
A quick look at our schedule for the next few weeks:
