Phase II Dormitory – Paul Bruton Dormitory
The Phase II Dormitory, now dedicated as Paul Bruton Dormitory, represents another significant step in the vision of the Tanzania Assemblies of God to establish Northern Bible College as a cornerstone for ministry training in Northern Tanzania. Its purpose is to develop young men and women who will carry the Good News throughout Tanzania and beyond.
The dormitory accommodates 216 students and is fully furnished with all new furniture, providing a safe, functional, and welcoming living environment for those pursuing biblical education and ministry training. This facility plays a vital role in the continued expansion of the campus and stands as a testimony to the faith and generosity of God’s people.
Beyond serving students during the academic year, Paul Bruton Dormitory has transformed the entire 10-acre campus. Between the college’s three academic terms, the campus functions as a convention center and has hosted youth camps, pastors’ seminars, and leadership conferences, extending its impact far beyond residential use.
When construction began, the projected cost was approximately $350,000. Due to rising material and labor costs following COVID, the total project budget increased to an estimated $590,000.
Paul Bruton Dormitory is more than a building—it is a powerful symbol of growth, education, and preparation for ministry that will impact Tanzania for generations to come.

Past Projects at the College
Construction of Housing
The 6,000-square-foot Bruton dormitory is complete! This sleeps eighty-eight students. This two-story dormitory houses students preparing for ministry.
At this time a larger dormitory is under construction. Future plans include: two duplexes for teaching staff, completion of the Victoria Chapel, and expansion of the cafeteria and Bruton Chapel. These construction projects will be done according to the Master Plan of the college.
Internet Tower
Through our friends & partners, we were able to erect an Internet Tower for the campus. This tower provides internet service for the Library, Computer Lab, and administrative offices, as well as WIFI.
COMPUTER LAB
African Moons provided Dell Desktop computers, printer and WIFI for the students for Biblical research and Commentary access.
