It is always amazing to look back and see how God has taken care of us. Sally and I were talking about the time her mom and dad had a car insurance bill due but did not have the money. Sally tried to figure out how we could help, but our funds were limited. The next day, after visiting the mailbox Mom called Sally at work. A cashiers check was in the mail for the exact amount due to pay their car insurance for the whole year! Mom never figured out who sent that check. Mom and Dad lived their entire lives by faith, serving as missionaries. Mom’s last wish, before she died, was that all of her bills would be paid. After Sally had taken care of her final bills, there was a small balance remaining in her checkbook. God was her Financial Advisor and Manager and took care of each last detail.
We look at how God has provided the funds for two dorms for the students of Northern Bible College. Just in the last few weeks the final payment for a gifted young lady’s scholarship needed to be paid, God put it in a partner’s heart to give $1700. The same amount we had pledged to a young lady to complete her Masters Degree at ACT Seminary in Dodoma, Tanzania. She has already ccepted a teaching position at one of the Tanzanian Assemblies of God colleges!
This is how God is building His Army of Leaders in Tanzania. This scholarship was in addition to our current scholarships for Shalom and Northern Bible College. God put Rosemary Julius on our hearts and believed that God wanted us to help her reach your goals.
This is where we are today. African Moons has pledged $3000 a quarter to Shalom Centre for their food budget. It is due July 1st.
“Wheel Chairs for Special Needs children” has a target date of July 20th. One donor sent $2500.00 for ten wheelchairs! Other partners have given towards the wheelchairs. As of this writing we can purchase 14 wheelchairs! Now we need the funds for the trip – $5165.00.
Matthew 6:25 NIV says; “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”
God has provided MEMORIALS for each of us. We said at the beginning of this year, African Moons is built on the foundation of FAITH. “GOING WITHOUT KNOWING”. So we do not take on the pressure or worry of HOW. God has never failed.
