Joel Vann

Born in San Jose, California, he is one of six siblings.  At the age of eight, he watched a missionary’s film that determined his life’s mission.  He is a graduate of Malone University, Canton, Ohio, where he earned a B.A. in English and Christian Ministries.  He began his career working in Kenya with the East African Mission, directed by Paul and Helen Bruton.  His career in television led him to work for several large international humanitarian organizations.  Through these organizations, he used his talents in many African countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
