Sometimes we just need to be reminded…. II Corinthians 8:8-10 from The Message tells us;

“God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more that just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out.”

“Wheelchairs for Special Needs Children” is the exciting opportunity for us to help change the lives of these children. The goal is to provide wheelchairs for at least ten children. The current cost of materials requires a budget of $250.00 per wheelchair. I leave for Arusha on July 20th so that is our deadline for raising $2500 for these special needs children.

Our new partners at Kyaro Assistive Tech in Arusha will custom build each of these wheelchairs. Their vision is powerful and one we support wholeheartedly: “a world in which everyone has access to a life of autonomy, dignity and community.” We are excited to have this contact that will benefit the children and the Arusha business community.

Shalom Centre Orphanage’s next quarterly food budget of $3000 is also due on July 1st. We are so humbled and blessed that God has called us for this purpose. In response to your heart for the children of Arusha, God opened doors for us to help Shalom Centre and now the Special Needs children.

As I prepare to travel on July 20th, we ask for your prayers and support for these needs:

• Wheelchair Project $2500.00
• Shalom Centre’s quarterly food budget of $3000.00.

Your gifts over the next two months are urgently needed. We have witnessed God do the miraculous and we trust Him to move on the hearts of His people to invest in the lives of the these children. God bless you for believing with us.
