Wow, these words are so absolutely true.
Since our last letter we have been trying to figure out the import duty we were required to pay for the furniture to be released.
When the government delayed unloading the containers, it was a blessing because I would be home to help Sally with her physical therapy and day to day needs. It also gave the Tanzanian Assemblies of God leadership and us time to wait on God and His plans.
Then on February 22, I received a message from the TAG that the Government issued an EXEMPTION FROM DUTY CERTIFICATE for all the furniture! That saved us about $25,000.00 The furniture is waiting for me at the college. When I get to Arusha on Saturday night, March 9th, I will definitely try to find out more and who granted us the exemption. God’s ways are higher than our ways!
So, what was just made possible by this miracle?!
Remember seeing the dirt area between the two dorms? Our hearts’ desire was to put interlocking blocks down over that whole area. Now that is going to happen! God already knew how He would provide when we just wondered how. God is so previous!
Just a reminder, the 1st Quarter is going to end soon. That means that we need to send $3000.00 to Shalom Centre Orphanage for the 2nd Quarter food budget. We have just over half that amount in that account. Please help meet this need. It is $3000.00 every quarter to feed those beautiful children. God bless you for all you do as we partner for God’s Kingdom.
